Rung GCProkey and proced to unlock, flash stock firmware back.

are you high? Those eng_boot files are for revision 4 QC models, not 5. They do not work for unlock.

Seems like not all bootloader versions restrict a kernel flash to and equal or higher version than what's already on the phone. Sometimes the binary protection is set one lower.

regardless they do not work for unlock on the newer firmwares. I have tried and succeeded in flashing rev 4 QC eng_boot to a rev 5 phone and the phone booted. It writes AT RIL, enables AT RIL, but fails on unlock EVERY single time. on all 3 phones I've tried it on, only combo works. GCPro must be different from all other boxes. i'll try GCpro on next one that walks in door.

obliviousmnd, It works like a charm. The log is real. Nothing fake. Like I said, flash this eng boot and then root with Supersu_2.79 script that is in the same page.
I don´t use other box to unlock that. Please try with GCProkey, you will see how it works.

Thats why I like GCProkey, because they works ATM both ways, its simple. But some jobs require a tool and other require other...

I unlocked a g930p qj3, for some reason I'm getting 4G and cant make calls, but when i put it on 2g/3g i can make and receive calls. I have root, how do i get into GCF settings on this version? i've tried everything.

how can I downgrade to qaa? everytime I try it fails. Like I said I'm getting 4g but cant make calls, only when I put it on 2g/3g I can make and receive calls but I only get edge internet.

Can someone who has rooted the G930P on binary 5 please run these commands and upload the file to mega or google drive?
It is making a copy of the bootloader to help phones that are stuck in SBL error bricked mode. You would be helping many people.

Also, word of warning. Do NOT flash the emmc_appsboot and boot file from the combo firmware. flashing just these two will brick the phone. Without your help, it is as of yet unfixable.
