Hello
You do not need enable diag port on such phone if you do so it will not reply on samsung modem port.
Please disable it via code again and keep mtp,adb only ..

Such phone can be rooted many ways. for example kingo or king root will be best to root such phone.. make sure you uninstall such tool after using it.
