World First IMEI Write G920T PF1 WITH USB - GSM-Forum

This will not work if customer has rooted the phone. You will need eng sboot file then. If phone has not been rooted you can do this with USB cable, no root or engineering files.

Just reset MSL first by running exynos unlock. Once MSL is reset just use IMEICERT_WRITE_USB.

Looks like this is the same as the S7 cert write, S7 models it works but on the Edge Models it doesn't, I just tried G925T on PF1 and it doesn't work. Here's my log

try using z3x to unlock it (reset msl) then use gcpro to write cert

Z3X doesn't have reset MSL for these Exynos models

I tried G920A then unlock on Z3X but still same it doesn't reset MSL on the Edge versions, I just did a G920A and it went through perfectly but for G925T it doesn't work

Hello
Did you retry exynos unlock ?
once success use readinfo uart to see msl is reset or not.
Also try such phone with uart imeicert write to find out extact bug so i can fix it.

You can always wipe EFS using Odin and write your cert doesn't matter what android version it is ... Just make sure you Dont! root the device ..

I had a similar issue with g920w8...I did exynos unlock a couple times but is still showing original MSL Address:
