Member: 92260 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 843 | Somebody please help out and describe the steps to root the N9518 with FRP on. Obviously you can't go to the debug menu if FRP is on, so how would you root it with KingRoot? Step by step please, and no PM's not interested in that. Thanks, BillA |

So one user said need root, you said no root ?? ... pretty confusing... Do you connect the phone in fastboot/dload mode or straight powered up? Is ADB enabled automatically or you have to do something? Seriously guys, need to be a bit more specific. Thanks.

How did you enable ADB on the N9518 when you're stuck on the FRP screen? In order to root it with Kingo root PC version, you need to have adb on.

Ok never mind, got it done... when setting up WiFi, bring up the keypad, go to help, select any word, share via Google App, in the search box type in "setttings", enable Debugging Mode, select OEM Unlock on, must reboot and you just bypassed the FRP, go thru the setup as normal. For firmware version N9518V1.0.B12 no box is needed, but box is needed for other versions.
