Huawei flashing using edl mode , open thread discussion - GSM-Forum

Hello guys ,
recently Huawei Co, since it got oem lock and ofc locked bootloader and ofc it doesn't really matter when u have locked FRP . when u need to unlock or do whatever to ur device u can not .
so, if any user try to do some action with his device it would go to bricky toy .
since the only method to flash ur device using sd card and mostly it doesnt work for a reason ,i'm not gonna go through ...
or u may need to use dc phoenix , they have the fac algo and using the backdoor method ,, seems they are auth from Huawei ..
now we are on the box's and smart tools door and knocking it ,,
the point is they all use the edl mode (emergency download )
so , im working on some issue with a Huawei Y6 scc-u21 stuck at boot with locked bl and frp and no recovery , just fastboot access ..

I've tried to use dc method but, it doesn't work with me and the team honestly got my credit back , and asked me to replace the whole mother board , lol . that's ugly

...
anyway , the device has Qcom cpu inside , why can't i handle it like any qualcomm device , using any downloader like qfil ?

first u need the map file and the programmer file also , which mean u need a separated file system ( good luck to get it or back ur devic up , using any founded tool and yeah ofc since SAHARA u can't backup ur device bcz emmc won't be shown to back it up ) any way u will need a qfil firmware ..
now the next step is , ur gonna need to put ur device to the edl mode ..
either ur adb is somehow working !! just run

or u need to find the device's tp

after a successful connection and exact firmware u can try with qfil ,
on my side i'm stuck at
ERROR: function: sahara_rx_data:194 Unable to read packet header. Only read 0 bytes.
ERROR: function: sahara_main:854 Sahara protocol error
ERROR: function: main:265 Uploading Image using Sahara protocol failed
Download Fail:Sahara Fail:QSaharaServer Fail:Process fail
Finish Download
.. i guess that back to the bootloader status which is locked or simply i need to change trying with another pc or usb port ...

i just need some pple to share me their knowledge , in case someone is interest...

And huawei have secure boot,not easy to find loader to use this methode..

yeah , i know that Huawei has secure boot, but at least we are playing around the ideas ..

Qcom models mostly have standard loaders.
(y530, y560, etc.)
