Member: 717129 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 11 | Advice needed for iPhone 6 touch ID problem I have a iPhone 6 with a touch id problem. Everything is original i.e. button flex ( I have tried a new long home button ribbon which runs from the plug to the button flex ) The phone allows you to go into the enter finger print part but once you're in it the button it's self does not reconise a finger has been placed on top of it. I also do not get the "oops" message if I press the button during the finger print reading. Any ideas what components to check to determine why the finger print part of the button is not registering when a finger is placed on it? Thanks for any advice Oliver |

Member: 162876 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 7 | I have also same problem with a 6 plus. Problem was the bad quality of flex cable between home/ touch sensor and mainboard. After a little resoldering/ cleaning the connectors, all is ok! |
