If you try to install a new Firmware the Data in beginning of the process will stored in the memory (progress bar runs till appr.70%). After this normaly the Baseband will be written (progress bar appr. 70% to 100%) But after the Data is written in the memory the cpu will check if the installation is successfully done and then he starts a communication with the fingerprint sensor. If this communication is failed then Error 53 appears and all stopped.

So you must be sure that you have the original LCD and the original fingerprint sensor! No other solution is possible at this time!
All other solutions they given here are in most cases bull****.. Sorry for hard words

The communication between CPU and fingerprint sensor runs in a serial communication way.. So yo must know wich data goes from CPU to Sensor and wich answer from Sensor is expected from CPU. This is very difficult to make this protocol visible and understandable. We will try to log the communication between CPU and fingerprint sensor, but it's difficult. And if you understand the communication you must emulate this, but this is hard work.

Other way can be a jailbreak where is changed the communication between CPU and fingerprint sensor. But this must be a jailbreak in a way of evasion or snowbreeze. The newer jailbreaks from china can not solve the problem while they need a working system. Evasion and snowbreeze was working with a system in recovery mode. but the are not available

So only APPLE can help in a way that they will change the installation routine. But i think they will never do this. Best for Apple is to sell new phones they think. IT's hard but the truth!

Only Apple can solve this problem.But they do not even care despite the appeals,suggestions and pains of the people that are victims of the error53.

we must inform and teach customers worldwide about what damn apple do and how this company spite us and them, i am no longer doing upgrades for iphone in my store

Read the post very well my friend. Replacement can never work, only the original home button that comes with the phone will work.

i called once to apple support they said me if original owner call to them with original id . then possible solution they can resolve online . or send set to them.
but both are real demanding solution. how i get orignial owner. and how send set .////

Apple released IOS 9.2 and there is still no consideration to error53 to be fixed. I hope one day the solution will be released.

Not everybody has access to apple care service. In my location there is no single apple customer service.

It is very safe to replace lcd BUT you make sure you put the ORIGINAL HOME BUTTON of the same phone.

it so sad that this error 53 has no solution yet,and am having 2 iphone 6 with same errors. apple should pls try and do something about this universal thumbprint quick.......
