buying a used iphone 6 - GSM-Forum

Hi all

New on here from the UK

I'm having difficulty in finding the answer to my question, I have in the past brought two iPhone 5 phones with no problem.

I'm now looking for the iPhone 6. but I'm worried about buying one then some mounths later getting block, on the IMEI ? ( phone gets reported stolen insurance scam ) If this happens what can I do, can the IMEI be changed, when buying the phone I will make sure it's unlocked. Any advice?

Hi all

just been on the phone to Apple in the USA, about this question I have,and was told
If the find my iPhone was not actuated , and my SIM card worked then the phone could not be blacklisted or blocked as long as I regester in my iTunes
So if I do purchase a used phone and do the above then I should be ok

Hi Paul another or similar question is what happen to iPhone that reportedly by network provider that unpaid bills/insurance scam etc. is that we can called ''Blacklisted''??
what happen to the iPhones that was reportedly unpaid from service provider??
