if you change home botton you can't restore.
insert the original home botton and restore again. it's solved 100% error 53

Are you sure of that? I have an iphone in allost the same situation... Home button flex is ripped. Now its fine, but if i ever update or restore... . So i would really want a sollution for this too!

try to restore 8.1.3 get error53

This looks to be common problem,i have the same with faulty touch id and trying to restore.At that time i did not know this will happen.

weird! i also have same error now,

i tried to restore phone with only battery no flex cables no lcd no touch id, but again same error ?
latest itunes/and ipsw 8.2

I have the same problem here, My iPhone6 + hasn't been damaged or opened, it is stuck on restore.

Hello, my name is Carlos and I'm from Chile.
I have the same "error 53" problem, but I've read here that the problem could be because the flex of the home button.

If somebody knows how to replace just the flex of the home button, please let me know how to do it, because the problem of my iphone is that.

just i want to share my today experience,,,,
i have two iphone 6 one have icloud one is broken lcd..
i change whole panel from icloud to broken phone,,,
after two day try to restore with 8.2 and stuck on error 53
today i putt broken panel to back
restore succesfully
