This is for sure nand problem, just fixed a 6+ with this problem by reballing the nand. I checked the nand in my programmer and everything was ok, so soldered it back in and phone was back alive.

I also have a very slight water damaged iPhone 6 (only top of the phone has small trace of water) I have cleaned and when i plug in to my laptop, iTunes detect him in DFU mode and when I try to restore - "software for this iphone is not currently available."
Thank you!

Albelektronik 04-04-2017 10:53

Did the iTune give any error number? did You try as well with 3U Tool? Give us more details. Pls for others to create their owen thread and not creating confusion...

Thnx.

cossty 04-04-2017 11:32

Thank's
I didn't' open a new threat as i guess is the same problem!
3uTools see it in DFU mode and give me the following error "unable to detect iDevice product type".

cossty 04-04-2017 11:47

Actually i don't find any short on the motherboard!

Albelektronik 04-04-2017 20:02

I notice that the processor or on the back of the processor around PM IC (i can't tell which one) is getting a little bit hot when is connected to pc.

The iTunes is not recognizing the phone properly so it says that phone firmware is not available. It's very likely to be nand problem you need reball it. There is an import information of phone model that is recorded on nand ic.

Board allways gets hot little bit if its powering on. If you cant hold finger on it then its shorted
