5s eeprom replace.


hi, i have a iphone 6s with a damaged eeprom chip, i am unable to read any data from the chip.
question is, how can i write the imei number of this phone into a new eeprom?
is it even possible or am i wasting my time?

sorry i put 5s in the post title and should say 6s..

yes you should correct you just wasting your time if you can not read it ? then there is no way to write to new eeprom chips

U need to clarify which eeprom chip u r talking about.

If you are talking about the main eeprom then you dont have to program it just solder new eeprom or from similar board and just restore it...


But if you are talking about BaseBand eeprom. Then you have no options. Because it does stores important data in it. And if your eep chip is damaged means that data is gone. And there is no way we can generate that data.
