I have messaged him and ard and sent direct messages to the ip box contact direct not one reply from any of them that's why I think they know there is a problem. Been looking at wl but not 100% best model to order for iPad Air and iPhone 6 vip has wl406 but seems I need wl004 or wl003 so I've messaged them unless you know anywhere better?

Yes you can keep in mind that ipbox v2 (if you wont return it) is working for 32bit models. So no need to spend extra on a 64/32bit combo. So what i will probably do if there is no fix after the first week of january. To order the JC or WL 64 bit system. But i will first check if these also dont have this problem.

Because it is quite strange also that on vipprogrammer.com these machine have a >50%+ discount. So..... maybe also a problem there. (Apple found a solution to block us?)

Ofcourse i will try to send the ipbox v2 back and put a paypal claim.

I haven't seen anyone complain about wl programmer or any mention of error 40 they have 11 bit programming so I think they do a lot more than ip box. I'm hoping it will be worth the extra money. I was going to get that originally but ip box was cheaper and seemed to do the same. Lesson learnt

Same here. I am contacting with other people know that had ipbox also in the beginning.

They call it cheapy sh*t that i working fine sometimes and then suddenly everything is over.......

I will also try to return mine or sell it on ebay.

I think vip programmer. I just got my 1st order from them today and it arrived quite quick I got stung for import a little but they seem to have a good price. I looked on lcd but not much info and I just need a solution fast as I've got 4 iPad airs waiting to go. How about you?

Yes i got a short on PPVCC_main. But i have no idea where it comes from.
Is it an idea to replace U6000 (u2) ic. this is the only one that in my opinion could cause the short?

I dont have any moved or damaged looking caps.. (i know a caps can still be faulty but i dont wanna remove all of them :P )

Because of the short Q8104 is getting hot

Q8104 is too far from nand, if you remove nand and change sn and you got error 40 may be there is capacitor beneath the nand has been missing or damage or ic near also the nand please try to check

any way may be can help you this try to remove Q8104 and change from another board if you have

I bought this tool 4 months ago, i didn't get a chance to remove icloud, tested in 3 ipads, always i get error messages when trying to restore, until now, bad support, bad box, I'm ordering a new wl tool.
