You need to wick the solder off first if getting errors. I was getting an error until I removed solder from the pads.

I have updated software to 5.1 but getting error 40 after nand programming anyone know why

Same here. Looks like it has something to do with 64 bit models. Because my ipad 3 and ipad 4 i did with update 5.0 are working fine

So fare i can see user ''zhulianqi'' post the software update.
I will send him a PM in a minute to get his attentions.

Hopefully they can solve this problem in an update or a clear tutorial.

I noticed a brief message when you 1st open software about error 40 but didn't really understand what it meant did you?

Same. F1 and f2 don't do anything and I've tried 3 times with 2 different band same problem each time. I'm just going to wait for a solution now

For Solve Error 40
If you have a backup of your nand do this, Only for same nand! And no error in disk test!

1 Erase
2 Boot1 ->select user_read folder, Iphone6_Bot1_ce2xxxxx.bin
3 Boot 2 -> select user_read folder Iphone6_bot2_ce1xxxxx.bin
4 Flag only: create disk part and update info
5 Write
Test
If not done
1 remove nand
2 Reselect Boot1 / Boot2 same in the first method
3 Flag User to extract Boot1; Create disk partition ; Update new info
4 Write
If not done
remove and click fix sn tab (Fix ios 10 error 40= Ipbox >5.0)
Ps. If you dont have backup of your data, you need to restore boot with file in system/64bit folder
