IOS 11 now compares the processor ID with the sn, some how it looks like they been keeping that information but never used it because is a violation to the security of your device since that is what is being used to encrypt data. I wonder how a refurbished iphone / ipad gets a memory change or CPU replaced? some one has access to edit or inventory the new info. Edit: in theory you should be able to upgrade memory if you use the same SN on your original memory chip. | |
