Use the (not providing a fix ) message for reference of why the Anti-rollback eprom balls get damaged and need reflow ! And if it doesn't make sense why you need to do reflow to anti-rollback eprom go see schematics to see how it works that's it brah

Hello to everybody with this Error 9

First.. Magdani.. you are right!

I will tell you a story. A customer brings a iphone 5s where he has changed the LCD Unit. After this the Power Button dont work anymore. Easy to repair normally. The customer has destoyed the buffer IC U25 physically. Ok.. But this little buffer was so hard soldered and i used a little bit higher temperature to bring it out. OK so far. I soldered a new one in and test the power button. It works.. I must tell that the customer has installed the firmware new before he brings it to me. So it was not activated. Anyway..
As i tried to install the newest firmware the phone stopped with error 9 . UFF!
The the desaster beginns..

I know some error 9 are related to U2 IC.. Ok.. i changed it, but error 9 appears again.

And then i switched on my brain again. What i have done?
I have changed this U25. Not so far away from U25 is the power regulator U6. This one is underfilled with resin. So i removed this and reball and bring it in again. Restore endet with error 9.. Next i removed carefully the U6_RF . I know this is related to baseband and if i damage this physically this is the end of the phone. I reballed it new and bring it back again. After this the installation runs without any error and the phone is back to live again.
What i want to say.. Dont start if error 9 appears to reball and reprogramm the memory. This will not work. Maybe if you heat this memory up the U6_RF is better connected after this, and it works again. But the fault was never a memory fault.
A tipp if you solder in this area of U6_RF . Dont use to high temperatures! Also if you change the U6 regulator IC dont use to high temp. The U6 is very temp sensitve and will not work if you solder it in with to hot temp.

No rollback and no nand. No.
AP31 and AR31 - this point on CPU, use PCB-layout.

if you think of it. You heat up board way to much because of thinking it's nand issue and end up burning up the CPU or pads somewhere on board. .

If you keep heating board to much you'll damage it and end up with error 9.
I agree and do this
