because you are on ios 11 by ota update ( wifi ) clean restore with itunes on ios 11 and check what hapend

Yes you can update to ios 11 over the interet. dont update with itunes. i just tried on ipad air with modified serial, when i try to restore ios 11 with itunes - cant get activated, but when i restore to 10.3.3 then activates with no problem. after activating 10.3.3 you can updete to ios 11

Maybe our hope is a way to spoof/clone ECID or make itunes believe we have a 32 bit idevice and rtestore with ios 10 activate and after update

I understand that you can’t no longer take iCloud locked WiFi iPad by change the serial number to unlock as it won’t activate on iOS 11. Can you still take a cellular 3g or 4g iPad and remove the necessary resistors to iCloud remove or will this method not activate on iOS 11 as well?? Because with the cellular method you’re not changing the serial etc, you’re just changing the firmware. I got a iPad pro cellular and was wondering if to go ahead and try and iCloud remove by removing the resistors and bridging the other, can I still do this on iOS 11???jay

it doesn't work...by changing to wifi only you also change the udid i thiunk or that raises a flag to apple.

i have a theory to try to clone an already installed with ios10 nand to another and activating but didn;t succeeded so far to doa full dump
