Lenovo S60a Dead after flash - GSM-Forum

Hello,
Lenovo S60a dead after flash s232 rom from s227
after flash vibrate only and when connect to pc too much drives open and ask for format disk
showing h9006 port on device manager but not flashing from any tool or device
please expert help me..

Try to find firmware S60-a_USR_S227_1508062043_Q2040.1_ROW backed up from working device and reflash it again, you will find firmware uder unbrick firmware threads.

Download firmware,flashtool,driver from this site,then install the flashtool,now extract the firmware and correctly select then connect this phone with pc pressing volume up,when the phone show on the port select area then click on download button,the firmware version is 5.0.1.its atested solution.

How to Flash Lenovo S60-a Firmware!

Then Download and install QFil Flasher.

Download Rom of Lenovo S60-a firmware Password is lenovo4

Extract the rom.

Open Qfil flasher.

Specify the file in Programmer Path the file will be prog_emmc_firehose_8916.mbn

Now in Load XML specify raw_program_unparse and patch file.

Now click select port and power off your mobile. Volume + and Volume – and then connect usb cable.

Selected port will show like relink HS-USB QD Loader 9008.

Now Press Download Button. After Flash Mobile Phone will be restart.

COM Port number:7
Switch To EDL
Download Fail:System.Exception: Failed to Switch to Emergency Download mode

at QC.QMSLPhone.Phone.QPHONEMS_SwitchToEDL()

at QC.SwDownloadDLL.SwDownload.SwitchToEDL()
Download Fail:Switch To EDL FailSystem.Exception: FireHose Fail

at QC.SwDownloadDLL.SwDownload.SwitchToEDL()

at QFIL.Tech.DownloadTech.SwitchToEDL()
Finish Download

to fix unknown baseband you need efs file try to find on firmware folder...
