Hi,

Lenovo P2C72 64GB - Can I put newRom on it?

Has the P2a42 S251 latest stock on it, and I want to put this Rom on it, the same as I have on my Global real P2a42 32Gb version.

Hi,

from what I could find, looks like it's possible.

standard procedures apply ...

- unlock bootloader
- install TWRP
- mandatory make backup of sensitive paritions (modem, efs, modemst1,2)
- and of course, make full backup

after that, you can try flashing whatever rom you like.

only difference is in modem (radio/baseband) part,
so it may be necessary, after flashing p2a42 rom,
to flash radio from Chinese stock rom.
(or restore the one you backed up before)

I found some collection of modem files - HERE

that's it.

post results of how it went, may be useful to other members ...
