please am working on a lenovo s880i, it just went OFF and since den it refuse to switch ON. B4 it went OFF it started heating and it will be very very hot and surdenly it went OFF and neva switched ON again. pls if any one hav a possible repair solution i wil be very glade. thank u all and remain blessed

- Check battery, if needed charge on external power supply
- Disassemble phone, check for liquid/moisture damage, if needed - clean.
- Visually inspect the board for shortings/bl0wn resistors/capacitors, etc.
- Check if device shows up in device manager when usb cable connected, after those steps.

In case that phone needs ROM update/reflash, Download ROM : S880i_S112_121030
All tools and drivers - inside ROM archive.
