P.S. You need to remove FRP?
Connect clip to SD slot, boot to download mode (PWR+VOL DOWN), make sure that you don't get "SD NOT MOUNTED" message and do master reset. That's all.

Ok, its seeing the phone now, press the soff button, but get this:

(bootloader) ERR commad error !!!
Execustion time is 3268MS
OKAY
operation finished

and it did not take it off. if i goto frp removal, it says soff is still on.

You cannot do S-OFF in bootloader, you must do it in download mode.

ok, i have the phone in download mode now, with SIM clip attached to phone and micro usb from computer to phone. when i press the 'clear sim lock' button the command line box reads 'sending oem clearsimlocktype' and just hangs. nothing happens, after waiting 10 minutes

You must press "Write security". The simlock button clearly says "Some Desire series only", and furthermore, Sim lock is not S-OFF, S-OFF (stands for Security OFF) is done using Write security option.

ok, i rebooted and it worked that time. then i removed frp, so it looks good. now, question, does this box remove the carrier lock also ?

Yes, sim unlock is one of the main features of XTC 2 Clip.

ok, and it can handle both phones like the 626 which use code, and the 626s which uses the device unlock app ?

can you forward instructions on sim unlocking ?

Glad you got if figured out. I just removed FRP from a customer's phone the other day. I was about to make a video tutorial for you, if you still did not figure it out.

Bro it is really easy to do that, by just inserting the sd card into the phone and then you use direct mode command and use 0-security off (S-OFF)

hi xtc team, pls help me to make s-off htc d626x.i made setting in sd mode editor 0-security off (s-off) and save to drive. then attached the clip strip in to phone memory card slot. on pressing volume down and power button connect the phone in fastboot usb mode and press direct command mode . but no success.pls help me, what is wrong with me.
