TRY this recovery file.
Zippyshare.com - a16_ul_recovery_modified.img

I rebuild it from stock recovery and enable ADB function as root.

S-OFF + simlock HTC Desire 530 from T-Mobile success! CID was WFM__001, MID 2PST20000.
Make please conversion to European MID 2PST10000 for flashing European zip 1.22.401.1 without T-Mobile garbage.

is the metropcs version unlockable ?

got one here and it is just ignoring the clip, after trying to boot in FTM mode, it just reboots and boot android, thus ignoring clip

there is no log file in the clip to show here.

for unlocking is it mandatory to s-off first ?

does the twrp image floating here works on this version? a16ul
