GUIDE: Desire 530, HTC 10, HTC Evo, HTC Bolt S-OFF instructions
 

Dear customers,

This is a a short manual how to get S-OFF for your Desire 530, HTC 10, HTC Evo or HTC Bolt phones:

1. Unlock bootloader using XTC 2 Tool.
* Run XTC 2 Tool, open "Bootloader unlock" and follow the integrated instructions.

2. Flash recovery, get it here if you don't have:
- HTC 10 Android 6.x: http://www.xtc2.net/downloads/recove....0.2-6-pme.rar
- HTC 10 Android 7.x: http://www.xtc2.net/downloads/recove...y_root_pme.rar
- HTC Evo/Bolt Android 7.x: http://www.xtc2.net/downloads/recove...y_root_aca.rar
- Desire 530 Android 6.x: http://www.xtc2.net/downloads/recove....0.2-0-a16.rar

Please NOTE: custom recovery is provided by gsm community and not by XTC 2 Clip

3.1 For Android 7.x phones:

Reboot to bootloader (Use "Bootloader" button in XTC 2 Tool or use download mode menu), and then choose "Reboot to recovery". This will root your phone, and phone will reboot to Android mode.

3.2 For Android 7.x phones:

Reboot to bootloader (Use "Bootloader" button in XTC 2 Tool or use download mode menu), and then choose "Reboot to recovery". Phone will remain in recovery mode.

4. Open "S-OFF" tab in XTC 2 Tool and press "Do S-OFF" button. Wait for the process to finish.


Please note that it's a temporary solution before we release more easy one.

Recovery compatible in metropcs and tmobile, work all operations unlock s-off etc

HTC 530 version a16ul not work

You forget that t-mobile and metro pcs phones got another security with unlock app, and you can't network unlock phones from this software?.

XTC 2 Clip can unlock these phones also using "Sprint" tab.

how to turn ON option Bootloader unlock on Deasire 530, as software ask for it ?

If you have a problem, please make a new post and include log.

Boot to normal Android mode, go to Developer settings and tick 'Enable OEM unlock'

XTC2clip support unlock metropcs and tmobile htc 626s and others Do not import app Unlock Device

desire 530
Confirmed s-off and bootloader unlocked.
But problem in network unlock - transferred files and inserted clip in phone.
Restarted in FTM mode via software , phone go in white screen and green color says Diag init.... and then restart in normal mode network locked.
whats wrong i dont know
