I have been readin the thread you mentioned in xda, and I cant see there anything related to convert to european...
What I can read there is a way to recover from brick or restore, using a tmobile RUU after extracting system and boot images...

can you share where to find information regarding convertion to european ?

insert the xtc clip in the phone sd slot and try enter recovery, after entering recovery mode with xtc inserted in phone, you will see option to hard reset.

I reflash sd clip with image2015.img file, I copy files again on special unlock/IMEI and here is the log:

1. unlock bootloader
2. Go to S-OFF & flash " twrp-3.0.2-0-a16 "
3. Go to special unlock/imei select HTC Desire 530(A16)(UNLOCK) Bootloader service option, select "Do nothing"
press Copy files.
4.Connect XTC2clip to phone
Reboot to bootloader (Use "Bootloader" button in XTC 2 Tool or use download mode menu), and then choose "Reboot to recovery".
you will see recovery mode on screen with TWRP you flashed at step 2 like https://www.howtogeek.com/wp-content...RP-restore.png.
5. Go to S-OFF, "S-OFF & Bootloader unlocked" Do s-off
Connect XTC2clip to PC
6. Go to SD mode editor click on upper imei to load youre imei on "lock/unlock imei list(for lock/unlock omly)"
(a)SELECT New CID
(b)SELECT Lock
press SAVE TO DRIVE
7. Connect XTC2clip to phone with phone connected to usb press FTM Wait oparation to finish.

Unlock Desire 530 2PST20000 cid: WFM__001 is Done

My phone looks like this with CID not changed but unlocked, remember this t-mobile have unlock APP !!
