HTC A9 frp unlock [solved] - GSM-Forum

Hello

The special unlock feature for HTC A9 seems not to be working, it copies the files on the drive, after inserting the sd card and writing data over in factory mode the bootloader remains locked with s-on.

The same method worked perfectly when i tried it on HTC M9.

Please help.

Hello,

FRP unlock, SIM unlock, S-OFF and bootloader unlock are 4 DIFFERENT operations.

So please make S-OFF first, then you can remove FRP.

Hello!

I copied the files on sd card as the manual said and booted the phone into test mode, but the bootloader didnt unlock. Due to that i could't perform s-off.

S-OFF is done in download mode, see here:
