Member: 1713460 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 28 | HTC One M9 OPJA200 nTelos simunlock [SOLVED] Please need help I have a phone (bootloader) product: htc_himawhl (bootloader) version: 1.0 (bootloader) imei: 990005694253767 (bootloader) version-main: 2.11.510.16 (bootloader) boot-mode: download (bootloader) version-baseband: 1.11.C1144030@50421 (bootloader) version-bootloader: 1.0.0.0000 (bootloader) mid: 0PJA20000 (bootloader) cid: ACG__001 I must say that I can make call with GSM sim inserted, but network indicator was always showing "no network" and network modes available were only CDMA and CDMA/LTE I decided to simunlock phone anyway, make s-off, flash TWRP and custom ROM. I have performed unlock procedure using "SPECIAL UNLOCK" tab. FTM showed me unlock procedure step 1... step 2.... step 3.... step 4... DONE SUCESSFULLY on phones's LCD. Then I S-OFFed and made supercid and flashed first sprint 2.11.561.x firmware When I boot the phone it won't catch network anymore and network modes available were still only CDMA and CDMA/LTE. Then I tried to update to firmware and the second step was sprint firmware 3.41.651.41. Then flashed TWRP recovery and Viper ROM, because stock ROM does not boot with new firmware. Phone booted sucessfully, but Wi-Fi networks became unavailable and HFA is active (but why HFA active?) and no network with GSM sim. Now I can not boot home screen because can not activate phone through HFA and also have no WIFI Please help me. Seems like everything Was done right, but can not understand why it does not work P.S. Maybe I should use Sprint TAB for unlock, but Special Unlock tab says M9/Sprint M9 unlock, bl unlock, HFA) but nothing was done correctly using it (no network, HFA active) |

Member: 2082605 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 9 | if u are s-off and cid 11111111 u can flash any ruu even european one but i recomand u to change cid to BS_US001 and flash the factory unlocked one and try and see how will perform |

But I have done unlock before flashing sprint RUU Maybe I should try viper rom (custom rom)? |

Sprint unlock will not remove HFA, unfortunately. The unlock/HFA removal process doesn't work according to the log, and I cannot understand the reason at the moment. Try to reflash and then unlock/remove HFA again, just to see the result. | |

I tried 2.11.651.xx DID NOT HELP. Maybe you have new clip filesystem image? Do you have 2.11.510.16 original nTelos RUU? Will it help if I will flash custom ROM? Please read my 1st message in this thread attentively one more time | |

Now I have Unknown baseband and unknown IMEI in android. But fastboot shows everything OK. Why it happens? It was fully working phone before I tried to sim-unlock, s-off, supercid etc | |

fastboot will always say that IMEI is OK, as it justs reads out the IMEI from the internal storage. I have checked, and can confirm that 2.11.510.16 is the latest version for this release. Which network do you want to use it on? Is it a GSM network? Because USA networks like Sprint in most cases have their own settings in NV area, so it's hard to predict what will happen with the phone, as, for example, you have already flashed it with Sprint firmware. | ||

Phone was reverted to nTelos original ROM 2.11.510.16. No matter which ROM is flashed - all of them show UNKNOWN BASEBAND and UNKNOWN imei. As I can understand modem software is missing, or modem partition is corrupted, or eMMC is defective. Can I check all eMMC partitions? Can I read/write modem partition separately? Can this problem be caused with wrong nvitems? What can I try to do with this phone to find the reason? | |

It can be eMMC, but I doubt, that it's the problem. You can read/write modem partition, but full flash do the same, it doesn't make any sense to write the same modem once again just separately. I believe that the problem is in nvitems, where IMEI is stored. If you have QXDM, you can try to write IMEI. I will ask our developers, if they can assist you in any way. | |
