HTC M9 s-off & supercid fail [SOLVED]

Hello!

I'm running xtc2 clip tool version 1.25 and i can't modify htc m9 in direct mode. I could only perform the bootloader unlock.

Error log for s-off:

Sending oem writesecureflag 0
... FAILPERMISSION DENY (NOT_FIND_SMART_IO)
FAILED (remote: PERMISSION DENY (NOT_FIND_SMART_IO))
Execution time is 49(ms)
Operation finished

Error log for supercid:

Sending oem writecid 11111111
... FAILWRITE CID PERMISSION ERROR
FAILED (remote: WRITE CID PERMISSION ERROR)
Execution time is 25(ms)
Operation finished

Please help!

Hello,

Try this:

Also - wait 5 seconds after phone will be connected and detected.

Hello!
i repaired the filesystem but still giving me the same error. Is there another way for M9 to change the CID into supercid and perform s-off?

The offline mode only unlocks bootloader, and the manual is strongly outdated when it comes to htc M9/M9+ etc. Could you please give me a proper manual or some instructions how to change cid and security in offline mode for HTC M9?

It's not outdated.

It's even made specially for M9:

Sorry, i was using the homepage manual that was outdated. I had no information about this manual. So the error says: NOT_FIND_SMART_IO - Your clip is not attached. That's odd, for other models the direct mode is working perfectly for example htc 626 etc. So im thinking the problem is in the device not in the clip itself.

Yes there is some sort of weird issue. I tested direct mode with HTC A9 and at start it worked perfectly, but whenever i tried to flash it and the flashing failed. I instantly can't change the security and cid in direct mode. Giving the same error as before.

Hello,

not_find_smart_io means there is no smartio.crd on the clip, e.g. filesystem is corrupted, or flex is damaged.
