To unlock SIM you must use "Special unlock / IMEI" tab, and what you are trying to do is NOT unlock, don't use it.

Hello,

You should not see the FTM mode.

2 possible problems:

1. Clip is not correctly attached. Solution - boot to download mode first and make sure you don't get the "SD NOT MOUNTED/CONNECTED" message.
2. Do filesystem repair (http://forum.gsmhosting.com/vbb/f961...t-etc-1964648/) and then do copy files again.

2. File system is damaged

Again for you:
You should NOT see FTM, and you should NOT use "Simlock" in FTM.

Since the clip is attached and recognized, it means that files are not copied in "Special unlock / IMEI" tab.

I have no idea why did you buy the code, and who told you that "Our clip cannot unlock T-Mobile M9".

It can unlock both T-Mobile and AT&T M9 and there was no need to spend money for codes.

Anyway it's up to you and thanks for reporting your results.

Step-by-step manual is located under "Special unlock / IMEI" tab.

As I don't see your logs I can't say which step was wrong or missing, sorry.

@juve2106

The clip can definitely sim unlock the HTC m9 T-mobile phone. I have done many many of these phones.

You do this through the FTM mode but you should not see the FTM menu if you correctly copied the files to the XTC 2 Clip.

Also you asked, "if files not copied how i do S-OFF ?? Reset FRP?? Change imei? change cid???" For the HTC M9 you can do all of those things without copying the special files to the clip. To sim unlock you will need to copy the special M9 specific files to the clip.

Its really easy. Read the instructions, if you still don't understand then let me know I can write up a step by step guide.

Hope this helps

Gene
