This is the result when I pressed the "Read Phone Infomation" button.

(bootloader) mid: 2PZC100

Although MID is displayed as "2PZC100", it is a model that is originally "2PZC 20000".
I want to restore this.

I asked the following question for "XTC 2 Tool 1.35 released | U11 Android 8, U11 Life Android 7 and Android 8 + more" when "XTC 2 Tool" is Version 1.3.5.

--
I want to change mid. HTC U 11 Oreo running.
Can you deal with this?
--

At that time "xtc2clip" was reply like this.

--
Yes, in next release.
--

I was looking forward to it, but I could not change it even at 1.3.6 or 1.3.7.
Does anyone know how to change?

Hello!

Please use it with "Via reboot" checkbox checked.
Also try trusted reboot.

UPDATE: This is for Android 7 only, so your option is:
Downgrade to Android 7 using "PowerAdapter Tools" tab, change MID using "PowerAdapter" tab, then upgrade.

We will add direct MID change for Oreo 8.x in the upcoming releases.

Can not downgrade

Starting flash process...
target rom version: 1.19.762.1
found large-zip header, file count: 28
processing file 1/28...
sending 'zip' (119688 KB)...
OKAY [ 5.347s]
writing 'zip'...
(bootloader) HOSD CL#1011554
(bootloader) ERR Model ID not matched
(bootloader) ERR [SD_UPDATE_ERR] MODEL ID NOT ALLOWED
(bootloader) ERR [SD_UPDATE_ERR] sddownload failed: 10
(bootloader) ERR Update zip file failed.
(bootloader) Update zip file OK
(bootloader) ERR ZIP ERROR CODE, 10
(bootloader) end@Done
Flash process completed.

I applied RUU of version 7 from the "Flash" tab after using "Reset software version (enable downgrade)" on the "PowerAdapter Tools" tab, but because of a different model id, an error occurs.
What should I do now?

You are trying to flash with with 2PZC20000 firmware, it's not possible at the moment, take any 2PZC10000 firmware (OCEAN_UHL) with Android 7 and try to flash it.
However, I see that you have one digit missing in your MID, I believe it should not be the problem.
Please try my advice, if it's not goning to work, we will add MID repair to PowerAdapter in next release.

Thanks for your patience.

Thank you for your reply.
However, I flushed RUU of "HTC Europe 1.27.401.12 Radio 8998-001791 - 1705231845 513524", but the result did not change.

I already noticed that MID is not enough for one digit.
This smartphone was purchased in second hand and it seems that the previous user mistakenly changed the MID, and I am in trouble.
Sorry for trouble but I would like MID repair function.
