HTC U 11 Oreo running. Can you deal with this? -- At that time "xtc2clip" was reply like this. -- Yes, in next release. -- I was looking forward to it, but I could not change it even at 1.3.6 or 1.3.7. Does anyone know how to change? |

Please use it with "Via reboot" checkbox checked. Also try trusted reboot. UPDATE: This is for Android 7 only, so your option is: Downgrade to Android 7 using "PowerAdapter Tools" tab, change MID using "PowerAdapter" tab, then upgrade. We will add direct MID change for Oreo 8.x in the upcoming releases. Last edited by xtc2clip; 11-11-2018 at 20:55.

I applied RUU of version 7 from the "Flash" tab after using "Reset software version (enable downgrade)" on the "PowerAdapter Tools" tab, but because of a different model id, an error occurs. What should I do now? |

However, I see that you have one digit missing in your MID, I believe it should not be the problem. Please try my advice, if it's not goning to work, we will add MID repair to PowerAdapter in next release. Thanks for your patience.

Member: 2628216 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 3 | Thank you for your reply. However, I flushed RUU of "HTC Europe 1.27.401.12 Radio 8998-001791 - 1705231845 513524", but the result did not change. I already noticed that MID is not enough for one digit. This smartphone was purchased in second hand and it seems that the previous user mistakenly changed the MID, and I am in trouble. Sorry for trouble but I would like MID repair function. |
