hello
customer bring this phone to me
need help with htc 10 recovery restarting
phone on start shows "data encrypted" need to do hard reset
then i reboot to bootloader mode and trying to boot to recovery mode
phone restarting
phone is"s-on" and bootloader is locked
then i trying to write twrp ask oem unlock but i cant go to os mode
the phone shows cid number cid 032,there is no firmware with this cid
???

to change cid or s-off u can use power adapter

I bring to the phone to friends who have power adapter,and they don't help me with it!!!
Maybe somebody can help?
Is there the flash compatible with cid 032, or any ideas how to write recovery to phone?

Power adapter is not needed unless the M10 is on Oreo and the old method won't work.
You need 401 firmware. Like 2.41.401.31
Also start in download mode with clip connected and look in system info at the eMMC life counters if the 2nd or 3th are above 09 then flash memory is end of life.
