HTC 10 Unlock - Communication Error #2 - GSM-Forum

I have tried:
Cleaning the flex cable
New flex cable
Different USB cables for power adaptor
Different USB port
Different Phones(Same model)
Repairing File system

I am still getting Communication Error #2. Is there any fix for this?I am able to unlock the bootloader and s-off. But the unlock procedure will not work.

Check sd mounted or not in download mode screen
Did u make s-off via power adapter ??

you can also remove smart card to clean and reinsert carefully for communication errors

Phone is S-Off and bootloader unlocked. Already tried cleaning smartcard.

Any ideas?

Hello,

Error 2 means the software is unable to write to the device.
So it's either a failure of a flex/microSD reader (reader is more likely)
or something is trying to access the drive at the same time, some viruses can behave like this, as they are trying to infect/block all removeable media.
