XTC 2 clip not recognised - formatting not working - Please help

Please help
Xtc 2 clip not recognized by xtc 2 clip software

I tried formatting the clip by win32 disk manager as instructed

win32disk manager says:

An error has occurred when attempting to write data to handle.
Error 2: The system cannot find the file specified.


and windows says I need to format the disk before use when I plug the xtc 2 clip in so when I click format I get another error asking me to make sure the device is plugged in

.

now Windows is not showing the xtc 2 clip at all as any device G:

try use another card reader
try changing flex

I have swapped flex cable

and changed microsdcard reader

I don't understand.
When I try to format it with windows formatting tool
I get this error:
data error cyclic redundancy check
.

I have kept my xtc 2 clip safe in a bag, unused, for a long time

you can try step 3 but its risky

Add Solder to the Flat pins because bad quality cables are thin!
