Hi!

I can only suggest to check how you connect the flex to the phone, and that the flex isn't damaged. According to your logs it's a connection problem between the phone and the clip.

For the record: All U11s are NOT the same. The Sprint model is different than the Unlocked model.

Same thing was true with the HTC 10. Both the Verizon and Unlocked model have the same MID. However, the MID of the Sprint model is different than those as well.
Apparently the U11's must be pretty much the same, as I myself and others have converted our sprint U11'S over to the unlocked version by means of root ninja s-off via the sunshine app then change the cid to the unlocked one then flash the RUU for the unlocked version and there you go converted to the USA unlocked version from sprint.

So unlike your saying they are NOT alike, apparently they ARE enough to convert to USA unlocked version. Check out Xda U11 forum the posts are all there so apparently they CAN be converted.

I also suffered from the same problem
I successfully M9 its working
HTC 10 and U11 is not working
In my case, the connection between the flex and the phone was not a problem
The file system repair method previously written on the bulletin board did not get better

I was able to use it in U11 in this procedure
1) Connect flex to PC and backup SMART_IO CRD to PC
2) Format the flex with Windows (10) (FAT , Standard allocation)
3) Copy the backed up SMART_IO CRD to the clip
4) In Windows explorer, open the property and check the error in the tool tab

This procedure is not always suitable for everyone
If you can use it without problems with other phones, you should doubt the clip body (filesystem)

Hello!

Please make sure PowerAdapter is inserted into the XTC 2 Clip.
Try to remove it and insert again.
This error (GT_CONNECT_FAIL) means there is no connection between clip and the PowerAdapter.

Interesting. I stand corrected. I didn't think that was the case.

Hello,

Not sure what can cause this situation, but you can do S-OFF without using trusted reboot.
