Member: 595864 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 163 | xtc2 strange behaviour lately got XTC2 clip and used it since 2015 used it on dozens of phones and with different USB card readers but lately is acting up on me. Yesterday couldnt S-OFF Desire 820n and now i have this issue with another phone : Sending oem writesecureflag 0 ... (bootloader) SecuritySDInit: counter = 2 (bootloader) a3ul_init_sd, SD card already power on (bootloader) a3ul_init_sd, SD card io already power on (bootloader) a3ul_init_sd: SKU AHD#1 or AHD#2 (bootloader) sdhw_7xxx_open: id=0 (bootloader) clock_update_cfg_sd is done (bootloader) sd clock set done (bootloader) clock_update_cfg_sd is done (bootloader) sd clock set done (bootloader) [DEBUG] Cmd8 polling status timed out, MCI_STATUS: 0xC0000 (bootloader) [DEBUG] sdcc_command: sdcc_poll_status error, rc: 2 (bootloader) [DEBUG] Cmd8 polling status timed out, MCI_STATUS: 0xC0000 (bootloader) [DEBUG] sdcc_command: sdcc_poll_status error, rc: 2 (bootloader) [DEBUG] Cmd8 polling status timed out, MCI_STATUS: 0xC0000 (bootloader) [DEBUG] sdcc_command: sdcc_poll_status error, rc: 2 (bootloader) sdcc_init_memory_device done (bootloader) SD clock freq = 19MHz.... (bootloader) [FAT_ERROR] fat_open_file: load bpb fail(-5) (bootloader) [JAVACARD_ERR] SMART_IO.CRD cann't find (bootloader) writesecureflag: Permission denied, value 1 OKAY Execution time is 4(s) Operation finished Phone DISconnected of course i already re-formatted it with Win32DiskImager and wrote some image from late 2015. usb reader i used a Lexar one and all went ok. but if i try to S-OFFi got same error on this htc from above. i write SF file on XTC2 and tried to S-OFF by SIMLOCK Menu from bootloader. It hangs some time like few seconds and Every line With Reading different files appears very slow (as it reades card very sloww) and i get on screen Open SF file...failed. Open XYZ File...failed...etc. All failed. is this XTC2 Clip dying slowly ? 1 . problem from SIM inside ? 2 . problem from XTC2 READER ? 3. problem from flex cable ? 4 . limited lifetime ? 5 . limited read/write operations ? PS : used ANOTHER XTC2 and S-OFF worked ok from 1st try by bootloader menu. absolutely no hang and no problem |

2. MicroSD reader is not involved in direct operation clip->phone 3. Possible. 4. No, absolutely no. 5. No, they are limited only by eeprom lifetime, which has a million cycles, so not our case. Just try this: http://forum.gsmhosting.com/vbb/f961...t-etc-1964648/ | |
