That would be the type of HD7/y-cable you need for the XTC2clip

Just got my clip today cable is not working !! i plugged straight into laptop and used my own micro usb cable and all connections is fine BR

Hi i have got new clip i tried to connect y cable to xtc2 and phone and usb port but fone is not found xtc2 clip is not found it seems this cable has no use or can you please explain what i am doing wrong when i use micro usb and plug the xtc2 clip in seperate usb ports fone is found and xtc2 clip nis found this is my related to this thread BR

With a y-cable, you can only use offline mode. Direct mode will not work.

The USB cable you connect to your computer from the y-cable only serves to give power. You cannot issue any commands from your computer like this, so direct mode is inaccessible.

Hi thanks for the reply it does charge my phone as you it does not send commands so we need to use micro usb for commands? and can we s-off m8 ? i have tried to s-off security sf 3 but it says that if i put the phone in before the clip to take it out and try again but even when i remove the clip and the phone put the clip back in first and then the phone its says the same thing thanks br

Look at the user manual. It tells you everything you need to know
