Strange! We have same test phone and it works just well.
Check once again if it is Mi 5 or Redmi 5 or any other model.

Also make sure that you are using good cable and port, and communication is not buggy.

You can report anything without log and screenshot, but it will neither help us nor you.

No plan for that, you are free to use other tool, if they support.

I remember some tool wrote that it can read from encrypted userdata too.

Seems its time to ask them.
