Lightbulb [GUIDE] Is My Phone FRP Locked? Can UMT Remove It?

Q. Is My Phone FRP Locked?

A. Some users can not understand difference between FRP (Factory Reset Protection) Lock and other Google Locks.

Here is a simple way to understand. Just follow these simple steps:

1. Put Phone in Download Mode. Hold Home Key + Volume Down and Power On Phone.

2. Phone screen will show a warning. Simply press Volume Up button.

3. You will see a screen much alike the following:

4. You can notice a Line "FRP LOCK: ON". It means FRP Lock is ON.

5. If you see FRP LOCK: OFF then FRP Lock is OFF and no need to reset it.

6. If you dont see any line saying "FRP LOCK:" then your phone does not support FRP Lock.

Q. Ok, My phone has FRP LOCK: ON, but can UMT Reset it or just you shout louder?

A. Aha, its a valid point. But we don't believe in shouting louder, instead we want our work to speak louder so you can notice it yourself.

May be some users are not really aware of this, but we were the first team to introduce Samsung FRP Solution publicly. If you don't know about it, then you must read this post.

Lets talk about supported models. Believe it or not, Our Innovative and Intelligent method can Reset FRP on World's all Samsung Phones, if you find that phone to have FRP Lock.

In late 2015, Samsung has started rolling out new update to stop this. So if our software failed to Reset FRP, for example, log shows "Reset Done" but phone does not restart, or you get "Err 0x04" etc then for sure you phone has new Firmware, and no other tool of this World can Reset FRP on such phone.

For such phones, we have a way. In our support we have a few FRP Reset Package, and customized version of Odin. Do the following:

1. Goto Support by Support Access Exe.

2. From FRP Reset Package folder, download Reset Package for your phone.

3. Download Customized Odin from our Support.

4. Flash your phone with FRP Reset Package.

5. Now Reset FRP with UMT.

Thank you for being a part of UMT Family.
