Hi Folks,
I had this device on my hands.
The solution is... First downgrade to 8 (Android 6.0.1).
After that, you can use the UMT box with the option MI Account Remove.
Remember that you need to put the device on EDL Mode using the pinout points.
After the procedure, will take while but the device will load the system without de MI Account.
That´s it.

After the update android 7 it relocks again.
After downgrading to 6 at the activation a new account should be singed up, after that update to wifi, i guess the new account take action.
