yes it will lock u need downgrade to 8.1 then anti relock adb mode

I have the same problem
activating the WiFi is blocked again. I reset Mi acc and I leave the phone without a Wi-Fi signal, I turn on the Wi-Fi and the networks never come out, and it turns off again
but I don't get the rom 8.1, I've searched many ways and I only get android 9 for this model.

For redmi note 7 i not find android 8.1 too.
