HTC Artemis / P3300 / MDA Compact III Problem with Sim / Memory card - GSM-Forum

Hello,

I Have a problem with the Artemis / P3300 / Mda compact III.

The problem is that the phone cant recognize the simcard anymore. Also the micro-sd memory card can't be approached. The memory card alsways gives the error : The card has to formated, then ok and it still doesn't work.

I treid to swap the whole sim / memory / mouseball unit with another, good working, and the problem is still there. So the problem is not on this unit.
Also I checked the flex connector, resoldered it.. Still no sollution.

Because I dont have a high level service manual of this device I cant find the problem.
The problem has to be on the main PCB.. But what are the related problems / components.

Can anyone help me please ??
