100% hardware, even if you upgrade downgrade 100 times still same problem hang restart, if you reprogram sometimes 5% 10% 20% etc stops then u repeat sometimes gos 100% complete, problem still same hang restart. 100% hardware same as other fon symtoms nokia se samsung etc..

I have same problen with 1 tmobile unit. If you search in forum you will find thread about it.
In this thread someone wrote that can be fixed with bga rework because is hardware problem and problem is in cpu.

I test al software and test with jtag too and nothing.
For me was a bad luck, because when I recived phone was good and I ordered code, next day when customer came to my shop phone get this state. I buy other phone because customer acusing me that was my fault.

I dont test because I have not tools to do, but I have bad board here and when have a little time I will do. I cant loose nothing by trying, is my board.

Along people who r using JTAG ways for HD2 be careful & if possible use jtag adapters instead of soldering as HD2 has very very delicate points & cn be easily broken.

i got 2 handsets repaired with the help of riff box ...j-tag process which were struck at stick together logo

one handset works good but the other has still restart problem

bro.. i read the whole thread... and here is my opinion ...

its is hardware problem.... i know u r prety aware with the basics.. u must have cheked the shorting and all...

now do one thing disamble the phone... put battery and power on.. now touch n see which part is getting hot... this can give u a good idea to where the problem is....

It happens when lower back part gets heat. if i keep it for a while then everything works fine. but for a while problem again comes back afterwords.
