MDA touchscreen Problem - GSM-Forum

I've just pieced together an MDA, and although it's almost resurected, it still has a minor (but annoying) problem.

For no reason at all, it'll revert to the standby screen randomly. Then won't allow access to the program/menu you were last on.

Could this be a software problem, or a hardware problem.

If it's software, if there anyway to update/reflash the rom using memory card, or do you need the cradle?

If it's hardware, what's gone wrong?

it could be due to a software error. U should hard reset and try again, if the proplem still remains, use another ROM, u will need the cradle to flash. The SD card is just used 4 back up and restore ROM

I've tried a hard rest, and that didn't seem to work. Looks like I'll have to get me a data-cable/cradle.
