Member: 409725 Status: Offline Sonork: 100.1581478 Thanks Meter: 797 | My touch 3g (pb65100) soft/hard reset! Performing My Touch 3G - HARD, SOFT & MASTER RESET! 1. Turn off the phone. Note: If the phone is unresponsive and does not turn off, remove the battery and then re-insert it. 2. Press and hold the Volume Down key and then press the Power key. 3. When the screen with the three Androids appears, release the Volume Down key. 4. Press the Volume Down key to select Clear Storage. 5. Press the Power key. 6. Press the Volume Up key select Yes and delete all user data. Master Reset (T-Mobile myTouch 3G with Google) ________________________________________________ To master reset the phone, perform the following steps: IMPORTANT: A master reset restores the original factory settings and may erase all downloaded content, including ringtones, images, programs, and contacts stored in the internal memory. It does not erase data stored on the SIM card or memory card (if available). A master reset will erase all your data and require you to log in again and go through set up screens. 1. Back up all necessary data. 2. At the Home screen, press the Menu key. 3. Touch Settings. 4. Touch and slide the menu upward. 5. Touch SD card & phone storage. 6. Touch Factory data reset. 7. Touch Reset phone. 8. Touch Erase everything. TOP Performing a soft reset ___________________________ NOTE: A soft reset clears and shuts down all active programs. This can help when the device is running slower than normal or not performing properly. To soft reset the phone, perform the following steps: NOTE: No data is lost and settings remain the same. 1. Save any files that are open. 2. Press and hold the red End key to turn the device off. 3. Press and hold the red End key again to turn the device on. |
