just Trying To Unlock An Mpx 220 With This Madman Clip From Skystartrade And With The Very Newest 3.2 Update And Trying Their Newest Instructions, Cannot Unlock A Mpx220 (still, I Have Had Clip For 6 Months And Have Never Been Able To)has Anyone Out There Had Any Luck Using This Device? -thanks

sent clip back(w an mpx220) and new clip was returned... a pretty pink one! it unlocked the mpx220 and so i guess everything is good now....but no explanation from them.

i have piranha clip, but it did not work the way I expected... some mpx220 cannot have their codes read by mss4, so I thought that piranha would do them. Unfortunately, the ones that mss4 cannot read codes, piranha clip also cannot unlock.

Don´t know why, but I´ve noticed phones that rom rewrote are much more hard to read codes or to do direct unlock with piranha. And a valid point, is that Piranha could not unlock ANY mpx220 asking for network puk, had to rewrite phone before unlocking, madman should have something like that as well.

After read codesif you can enter code you must clean rom , exist special flash file to clean rom and input codes, this flash not public i have for sell

not public? odd... there´s many sites with it available for downloading, and it´s been long time. keep your special flash file, i don´t think you got what I said..

entering codes is no problem, problem is READING the codes or directly unlocking it (like the clips do). there are some phone, specially from Tim Brazil, that cannot have their codes read by mss4, mototools or jic server, nor get unlocked by piranha clip.

Piranha clip can not unlock MPX 200 , can not unlock MPX 220.
Piranha box team can not give any support , and this clip can not unlock all sonyericsson , anyway this clip or this team it's give nothing.

So people why buy this clip?

you obviously don´t have a clue regarding what I´m talking about. I said Tim Brazil, have you ever got a mpx220 from Brazil? I´m sure not, so stop your nonsense. You "special rom" is easily obtained in several places (surrealnetworks is one of them, maybe you should check the date file was uploaded).

If you have mss4, check its forum, you´ll see that only brazilian ppl complain about this problem.

i disagree with you, I´ve unlocked at least 10 pieces of mpx220 with Piranha. All asking for network pin, and with original firmware. Never tested with mpx200, first opportunity I get I´ll try.

about se, up to cid36 had no problem with it, but cid49 it´s really a trouble, only k750 get unlocked (hardly, have to repeat process many times). But even with its flaws, I still like it, many htc phones get unlocked in seconds (ie qtek 9090 / s100 takes 30 seconds, i´d take 10 minutes using a pc).

If anybody has trouble getting Piranha to unlock USB phones such as MPX etc, they need to read the update JIC posted on their site months ago!

There is a simple repair to place a capacitor on the main board which solves this problem and also, JIC offered to repair any units sent back if customer could not carry out the repair
