Pfuiii... An hard reset is a very bad thing, with 25+ installed apps...

good thing! hehehe i assumed that anti-virus/firewalls were already disabled... hehehe my bad.... nice to hear your now in sync

by the way, before i hard reseted my device, i had already backed it up before my active sync went balls up, so it's kinda easy to decide the hard reset way...

What you need to do is check you firewall settings, make sure ActiveSync is allowed full access. It will work 100%.

Hi thanks for your help. But the thing is i have no fire wall installed. I have Norton antivirus and Stopzilla Antispyware. Tried to disable both but same problem. Some one told me that the problem lies with the USB port & I should change the USB setting to 1.0 instead to 2.0. But I went to Bios there is no such setting. I use an AMD athlon processor. Tried to play with the bios but of no avail. Tried Active sync 4.0, 4.1 and 4.2 Still same problem. And about the hard reset as someone told in the forum. Let me tell you I have bought a new mobile and it has no new applications installed yet. This is the first time I was trying to connect to the PC. Coul U pls give me some more help. THANX
