Samsung Galaxy Edge G935P on PL6 Sim Unlock says completed
but was Unsuccessful

This Phone was a nightmare 4 days of Hell

First had FRP on it I tried to Use Falcon tool 3.0

it kept saying FRP Successful but the FRP was still on the phone so then

I tried all 3 methods Under Android Tool tab for Samsung on Falcon that Failed

Finally after using another Box for the FRP Removal

1st I enabled Developer Mode and USB Debugging

Go to Settings > About Device > and tap "Build Number" 7 times to enable

"Developer Menu",
then enable "USB Debugging" and "OEM unlock" in the Developer Menu.

Connect USB and more drivers may install.
4.) Power off the phone completely, now hold Home and Volume-(down), keep

them pressed and power the phone on.
5.) Press Volume+(up) when prompted to enter "Downloading Mode"
6.) Connect USB and wait for all drivers to finish installing on PC.

I Did Sim Unlock using Falcon Box and said Successful but kept saying Sim Un recognized

I believe Falcon doesn't support the newest PL6 6.01 or the newest Nougat

update or theres a glitch in the 3.0 software I need install older version

back 2.8

If It does work I do not understand what I did wrong

Next I used adb enabler tool to create my own files using stock of PL6 Sprint

and flashed them in Odin in Download mode but none would work so I removed

FRP with Octoplus but then it got stuck on Logo and kept saying custom after

that I flashed The G935U Rom, I flashed it 3 times still said custom so I

used a priv frp tool from gsm forums to get rid of the custom splash screen

for SPR it was unlocked but some settings wouldn't work and the phone was

crashing alot so I booted into recover and Del the Cache and did system Wipe

/ restore then flashed the stock sprint rom back using PL6

After that it Came up asking for Password for storage which was caused by bad

cache left behind booted back into Recovery selected clear cache then booted

into Download mode used Odin and flashed stock PL6 sprint rom after that I

tried to use Octoplus to do a Sim Unlock but kept getting error ADB in use by

other applications I rebooted my pc and still got the same error so I used my

other box Falcon Box Clicked on Samsung then Selected Unlock and unlocked it

or at least said it did it kept saying sim un recognized So I went back in

download mode ran falcon 3.0 then selected Sprint Unlock still got the same

error with the Sim, I went back in tried use Kingoroot to root the phone that

failed the newest security was installed so I tried to use falcon 3.0 Said

rooted but as you can see it wasn't

Since I don't know what the difference is from Qcom and the Sprint Unlock

I did them booth to be safe

Finally after that client had enough and took his phone to another Unlocker

What was causing the ADB in use error no idea seemed to be caused after the

frp unlock by Octoplus which is great software and hardware was only tool

could bypass the pl6 software my falcon box failed miserably and 5 other

programs my only gripe is I don't like the custom with lock splash screen on

startup after using the Octoplus frp ee removal neither did my client

I just lost a client had to refund Money because I couldn't get the data or

signal to work on a Fresh U Rom for the G935U so I flashed back to stock and

tried to unlock But it wouldn't unlock the new PL6 and LTE didn't work either

If You have no LTE then reset Network


6 for LTE data enter settings>Activate this device>press 2 times Vol(+), 3

times Vol(-) . >will appear HiddenMenu>LTE settings> Global Mode.

100% unlocked and 3G/LTE data enabled tested with Bolivia's Tigo and Entel

About Sprint yes, once unlocked the phone will work with any carrier of both

CDMA and GSM networks, so Sprint included, just make sure to use the right

network settings in:
Settings > Mobile Networks > Network Mode changing it to:
1. "GSM/UMTS" or "GSM/WCDMA auto" in order to use a GSM SIM (e.g. like AT&T

or T-Mobile).
2. "LTE/CDMA" in order to use a CDMA SIM (e.g. like Verizon or Sprint)

I wish I had these steps Before maybe I could of kept my $30

Had I left it on

the U rom not tried any unlocks with Falcon Box and actually gotten the data

to work

Team falcon you guys are taking too long to update the modules please try an make the updates more frequent. Look at htc module last update was in November an we are now in may that's 6 months no update. The Samsung section is really outdated as well because there are a lot of new models an falcon doesn't have those. So please team need more updates.
