Mi5 with touch issues

Hi,

I got a MI 5 here with touch issues. Most of the time touch does not work at all, but by applying a bit of pressure to the back of the housing I can get it to work temporarily for some minutes. It's running the latest MIUI 8 Stable -so its not a software issue (has also been refreshed to be sure its not software). I started troubleshooting and the touch controller (synaptics) seems to be integrated in the LCD assembly. I tried to reflow the chip, but it didnt help so far. My next step would be to change the LCD assembly and also the touch controller. Any other ideas what could be the cause? How likely is a logic board issue?

Answer:

Mi5- There are problems with the screens that come from the company
* Only a screen replacement will solve a problem *
