@All

Well guys, since I wont be around tomorrow the 24'th (kid and wife you know)

So 1 day early xmas present for ya all

New test point for Siemens SX1 new board version.

1'st picture :

Highlighted areas to give an idea of the areas to work on. Note that the 32 Khz Crystal and the resistor must be removed temporarily (if you choose not to remove the CPU), they must be refitted after testpoint have been cut, the red area is the area shown in pictre 2

2'end Picture :

Here you see what to cut, strait forward, if you remove the CPU. If you do not want to remove the CPU then the third picture will show you exact where the place to cut is located, do it carefully, the outer track must not be cut, only the one behind the outer track. With microscope it's easy to see where to cut the track when you have these picture to go after.

3'rd picture :

Here is a view from the side of the CPU after crystal and resistor have been removed, only way to access this point ! REad explanation.

4'th Picture

Same a number 3, just a slightly different angle with the microscope camera for better clarification.

For info, been unlocking many units now, and also its not nessesary to reconnect the testpoint after cutting. WinSwup original can be used afterwards also ! That I have also tested BUT !!!! IF you want to repair the phone with a winswup core only via COM cable then you NEED to reconnect the testpoint, otherwise winswup wont flash core only!!!!!

Special thanks to mr_x4you

Regards and enjoy
