You mean you don't get FTD at all? This is weird. Maybe you are flashing the phone in a wrong way? Here, try this file. It contains FTD-enabled MCU, original MCU, PPM and CNT "en" (Central Asia) version 5.23 for 1200 (rh-99). Try flashing your 1200 with these and see if it works. These files I personally tested on many phones and didn't have any problems with signal or FTD. So either they will work for you, or you are doing smth. wrong.

Please upload you MCU-enabled-FTD for Nokia 1208 (RH-105)!

My attempt with DCT4 NetMonitor Patcher is no result...

Try http://rapidshare.com/files/16024717...2630ej0562.rar - as I don't have a phone to test on, the file contains two versions of MCU, one or the other should work.

http://rapidshare.com/files/16455556...1650en0506.rar - try .v1 and .v2 as MCU, as I don't have the phone to test which patching method works in this case. Also included is the normal MCU and "EN" PPM/CNT (Central Asian languages ) - enjoy!

I tried the flash file at http://evil-hackers.com/FTD/FTD_npl2__06.200.zip, posted here at 25.11.2005 (many thanks for posting!) with following result:

I've got the displays 01-01 to 01-14, 05-01 to 05-02, 06-01 to 06-11 and 07-01 to07-11.
All the other displays missing. I think this is the field test monitor whithout R&D.

On DCT3 phones it is possible to enlarge the Netmonitor to full R&D by entering 243.
242 reduces it to the displays 1 to 19, and 241 disables it permanently. The menu item disappears.

Is there an equivalent code for DCT4 phones. I.e. 6207 disables it permanently. What are the other codes?

Is there an other possibility to enable full Netmonitor on my 6100?

Thanks in Advance

Regards
Franky

I reffered to the one you've sent it to LeoTH when I said that I will try the firmware, I have downloaded it too.

By the way, in the .rar archive there are 4 files:
ftd-rh105_05.230
rh105_05.230
rh105_05.23en
rh1050_nai5.23en

which files should I take with me when I will go to the service?

Thanx

sorente, what's wrong with taking all of them? You will definitely need ftd-rh105_05.230 (FTD-enabled MCU), rh105_05.23en (PPM), and rh1050_nai5.23en (CNT). You will need rh105_05.230 too, if you want to disable FTD for some reason. Unless your service already has the 5.23 version for 1208, then they should have all of these file except the ftd-rh105_05.230.

Normaly there wouldn't be nothing wrong, but the service guy is... let's say it isn't as good as others are...
With my 6230i he did a good job, but with 1110i has tried 3 times to rewrite the phone's flash, with no success. Eventualy I 've managed to lost my phone...
