How to install an iPhone .deb?
  • Upload the .deb (Debian software package) file to your device's /tmp/ folder. Create the folder if it doesn't exists.
  • SSH into your device as the root user by issuing the following Terminal command:
    ssh root@192.168.123.88
(You must replace 192.168.123.88 with your device's actual IP address.)
  • Next, quit Cydia if it is running, and issue the following Terminal command to start installation:
    dpkg -i /tmp/name.deb
(Replace name.deb with the actual filename of your .deb file)
  • You may delete the .deb file after completing installation.

Fring

Fring cracked to work over Edge\3G with VOIP

Heres an .ipa that allows you to do VOIP voice calls over edge or 3G. Even though its unbearable even with wifi, it shows how easy it was to change a few strings and make it work

http://rapidshare.com/files/15103589...or_3G.ipa.html

I just deleted my old fring from itunes, synced it so it would uninstall it from the iphone and sync the new one in.

I am not the cracker, someone should reverse engineer it and see how they did it so we can do it for future versions of fring.

hi Prassad3223, I'm new here. Just wan to check with u few things :-
1) Can I use DiskAid programme to upload the .deb file to my iPhone device ?
2) Upload the .deb (Debian software package) file to my device's /tmp/ folder. Create the folder if it doesn't exists. What name of the folder do I need to rename it ? Is it same as .deb file ? Or just put it as "folder" only ?
3) Is it to start "Terminal comman"d installation same as the "MobileTerminal" downloaded from Cydia ?
4) Just tom confirm with u :
Command 1) dpkg -i /tmp/name.deb
Command 2) dpkg-i/tmp/name.deb (Spacing Ok ?)
5) I tried but doesn't seems to work, 1st I use DiskAid to connect to my device and then create a FOLDER name as "Clearclearcam 1.0.5_iphoneos-arm" and I copy the clearcam 1.0.5_iphoneos-arm.deb into the folder then exit and open the MobileTerminal , by default the screen show as [ localhost:~ mobile$ dpkg -i /tmp/name.deb ] then I press return/enter but it doesn't seems to work at all. Did I miss any step ?

If possible can u attach some screen shots and more detail guide and email to me at shawnwyc@hotmail.com

Thanks

Regards,
Shawn

first install MySMS from Cydia. 9.9.9.1 should be the latest update. Then use the attachment:

You should know what to do. Install the thing and put those into the application folder and and Respring! After that go into MySMS from SpringBoard and click the left corner button, go down to the very bottom click Import/Export passwords, and click Import passwords from Notes Choose MySMS-Backup! There you go guys! Respring and go click that left corner button and see if that Register button has dissappeared!
