Help: K790i interface with PC to access the gsm parameter similar to TEMS
Hi all;
I am working on my final year project to access the GSM network parameters similar to one in TEMS investigation from Ericsson . How can I access all this info by connecting K790i with PC to gather all the desired parameters which are being used in Drive Testing during Network Optimization. |

TEMS Investigation uses the TVP to talk with the phone.
How much you know about TVP (Log Points,Probe,TVP commands) I think you can forget about contol phone as TEMS Investigation do. What data you need? |

Hi Simri;
Thanks for your reply; I do not know about the TVP, can you kindly guide me about it,before your post I am thinking of AT commands for the same and also how can I access info of network parameters to log it by simply connecting my phone with PC; The data which i need is of Layer2 and Layer3 info of TCP and IP,some of the parameters except this are listed as: Carrier number MS RX Level in DBM Received signal quality MS TX power level C1 (Path loss criterion, used for cell selection and reselection). The range is -99 to 99. RTL (Radio link timeout). Timeslot Indication of the transmitter status Information on the Network parameters. TMSI (Temporary Mobile Subscriber Identity). Cell identification (Cell ID, Number of cells being used). MCC (Mobile country code) MCN (Mobile network code) LAC (Location area code) Ciphering (On/Off) Hopping (On/Off) DTX (On/Off) |
